Both these works, completed in 1983, found their beginnings in the large wall hanging "People in the Lord of the Dance". They are a symbolic reference to the various stages of alertness, attention and awareness which is the focus of a Benedictine Monk's life. An earlier version of Ora Labora I, cast in epoxy resin, was stolen from a exhibition at Douglas College in New Westminister BC. Canada.
