This poster, an ad for Padam's dance classes, is a collage of two photographs. The central image is a photograph by noted ballet photographer Anthony Crickmay of London. It depicts Wiseman dancing. "The costume I'm wearing really is a special costume, designed and made by myself for the grand pas de deux from "Sleeping Beauty" - the ideal costume for the role. So many of these costumes are designed by people who've never danced. I had to make it functional art and still depict the period." Gary Feghen's background photograph is of an actual class in Wiseman Technique given in Vancouver. |
