This sculpture of famous Russian ballerina Galina Samsova, completed in 1993, is the second in a series of 1/3 life-size bronze dancer sculptures.
Galina is a friend and dance colleague of Padam.
Dancer, and Galina Samsova were both acquired by the St. Petersburg State Museum of Theatre and Music, Russia in 1994. Padam attended the unveiling.

Two sculptures of Rudolf Nureyev followed - a bust in 1995 and a 1/3 life full figure in 1997. Both works were unveiled at the museum in 1998 with Padam in attendance.
